Criticizing the BNP for boycotting the 12th parliamentary election, Awami League Presidium Member Jahangir Kabir Nanak on Sunday said opposing voting means opposing democracy.

Nanak said this after casting his vote at Badshah Faisal Institute School and College at Mohammadpur around 9:15am.
A former state minister, Nanak is contesting the election from the Dhaka-13 constituency, eyeing a third term.
