According to election office sources, the total number of voters registered with the Bangaltali Government Primary School is 3,192, and with the Bhai Bon Chara Government Primary School it is 2,142.

Alfaz Uddin, presiding officer of the Bangaltali Government Primary School centre, said: “The centre under my charge is a remote area and heli sortie, which means election equipment and election workers have to be sent to these six polling stations by helicopter. As per the rules, polling started from 8am and was held till 4pm. However, no voter came to the centre during this period.”

The presiding officer of Bhai Bon Chara Government Primary School, Md Jahangir Alam, could not be contacted due to the remoteness of the area and lack of network at the centre.
