Awami League candidate -nominated candidate and Dhallywood actor Ferdous Ahmed has won the electoral race in his first try in Dhaka-10 seat.

He won by bagging 65,898 votes with the Boat symbol. His nearest rival, National People's Party candidate Shamsul Alam got 2,257 votes with the Mango symbol.
