A mobile court on Sunday sentenced three activists of an Awami League-nominated candidate to seven days in jail for obstructing voters from entering a polling centre at Kolaidanga village in Meherpur Sadar Upazila.
The convicts are Yunus Ali, Niamat Ali and Nazrul Islam.
Executive Magistrate Md Abir Hossain conducted the mobile court.
A scuffle also took place between the supporters of Truck symbol and Boat symbol in the polling centre.
Vice Chairman Bulbuli Khatun of Baradi Union Parishad was injured in the clash.

Quoting locals, police said that the followers of Awami League-backed candidate Farhad Hossain, the incumbent MP and also state minister for Public Administration, obstructed voters from entering a polling station at the village.
During this time, an altercation took place with Bulbuli, who is a supporter of Truck candidate Professor Abdul Mannan, that left her injured.
Later, police and members of the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) brought the situation under control.
Police then arrested the Awami League activists from the spot and the magistrate sentenced them by conducting a mobile court.
