An Ansar member was injured in a crude bomb blast incident at a polling station in Koratitola area under Jatrabari police station in the capital on Sunday morning.
The incident took place at Chan Miah Sardar Memorial School and College centre under Dhaka-6 constituency.
The miscreants hurled two crude bombs in front of the centre, said Roni Ghosh, presiding officer of 44 no centre under the constituency, confirming the matter.
He said that when the preparation was going on before the starting of the voting, two crude bombs were hurled which left the Ansar member Antar, 22, injured.
After being rescued, he was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).
