At least four people, including a child, were injured after cocktails were blasted in front of a polling centre in the capital’s Hazaribagh area on Sunday.
The incident took place around noon when the voting was underway at the Battala Jamia Anwarul Uloom Madrasa centre.
The injured are Tanveer Ahmed, 8, his father Badal Ahmed, 50, Maqsuda Begum, 50, and Amir Hossain, 60.

The injured were admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).
One of the injured persons, Amir Hossain, told reporters that two cocktails were thrown from the roof of a building along the road adjacent to the centre.
Another injured, Badal Ahmed, said the blast took place when he was returning home from the centre.
Md Bachchu Mia, in-charge (inspector) of DMCH police camp, said that the injured were treated in the emergency department, and their condition is stable.
