Election Commissioner Anisur Rahman has said that he expects over 50% voter turnout in the 12th national parliamentary election on Sunday.

He cast his vote around 8:30am in the polling station of Dhaka City College under Dhaka-10 constituency.
While talking to the media after casting his vote, he said: “The election is taking place in a peaceful atmosphere.”
