Much-anticipated concert of Coke Studio Bangla has been delayed due to heavy rain since morning in the capital.
Though the non-stop rain brings some relief from the unbearable heat of the last few days, it is a matter of disappointment for music lovers.
The concert field was supposed to open for the spectators at 1:30 pm but it would not be possible till 4:00 pm on Thursday.
According to the organizers, the concert was delayed due to inclement weather. The gate of the venue will open at 5:00 pm while the concert will start at 8:00 pm.
Shayan Chowdhury Arnob, one of the music directors of the concert, sharing the post, on social media and wrote, “The show must go on.”
Meanwhie, many fake rumours of the cancellation of the concert has been spread on social media.
Following this, the authority urged fans to keep an eye out for their official announcements only.
The Coke Studio concert will feature James, Nemesis, Lalon, Tahsan and Arekta Rock Band, Warfaze and Jalali among others.
