Primary School Certificate (PSC) and Ebtedayee Examinations-2018 will begin on Sunday across the country with the participation of 30,95,123 examinees.
As many as 27,77,270 and 3,17,853 examinees are appearing for PSC examinations and Ebtedayee examinations this year, said Primary and Mass Education Minister Md Mostafizur Rahman earlier at a press conference, reports BSS.
Among the PSC examinees, 12,78,742 are male and 14,98,528 are female; among the Ebtedayee examinees, 1,66,814 candidates are male.
This year, both examinations will be held in 7,410 centers across the country and will continue till November 26.
A total of 3,294 differently-abledexaminees including 231 Ebtedayee students would appear in the examinations.
The authorities concerned have taken adequate security measures along with maximum protection against question paper leakage.
Special initiatives have also been taken for smooth distribution of question papers to the 204 examination centres locatedin remote areas.
