BNP to hold rallies across Bangladesh on January 25

The opposition BNP will stage protest rallies across the country on January 25 against power price hike and to press home their 10-point demand.

BNP Standing Committee Member Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain announced the program from Monday's protest rally at Naya Paltan in the capital.

BNP leaders and activists gathered in front of the party office in Naya Paltan on Monday to join their pre-scheduled program to protest power price hikes and press the 10-point demand.

Their 10-point demand includes holding the national election under a non-partisan interim government.

As part of the simultaneous movement, BNP and other political parties are observing the program, protesting the price hike of electricity.

BNP announced the protest program from the mass sit-in event on January 11.
