Jatiya Party (JaPa) has decided to hold its national council on December 28, as part of its move to strengthen its organizational capacity.

The council will be held at the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh in Dhaka.

Party presidium members finalized the decision at a meeting held at Jatiya Party Chairman’s Banani office, a press release on Sunday, reports UNB.

Besides, they decided that JaPa will participate in the by-election to Chittagong 8 constituency.

The meeting unanimously nominated party Presidium Member Ziauddin Ahmed Bablu as its candidate to contest the by-election.
