Two people were killed in lightning strike in Charfassion upazila of Bhola district on Monday afternoon.
The deceased were Shahe Alam, 40, and Alauddin, 45.
Locals said a thunderstorm struck Shahe Alam leaving him critically injured, while he was working at a paddy field in Haziganj village.
He died when he was sent to Charfassion Upazila Health Complex.
On the other hand, Alauddin of Ayeshabad village was hit by a lightning strike while he was in his field near his home. He died on the spot.
Charfassion police station Officer-in-Charge Monirul Islam confirmed the news.
