The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Saturday forecast that rain or thundershowers with lightning flashes and temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at different parts of the country over the next 24 hours beginning on Saturday morning.
“Rain or thundershowers with lightning flashes and temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at a few places over Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions,” said the BMD forecast.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The country’s highest temperature on Friday was recorded at 35°C at Mongla in Khulna division, while the lowest temperature on Saturday was 23.2°C at Sayedpur in Rangpur.
The highest recorded rainfall in the last 24 hours till 6am on Saturday was 53mm at Sandwip in Chittagong.
