Chittagong University authorities have decided to conduct online classes in order to make up for the academic loss brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic.
The online classes will begin from September 6.
The decision was taken at the Deans’ Committee meeting held on Thursday with the university’s Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Shireen Akhter in the chair.
Deans of all the faculties participated in the meeting.
While addressing the meeting, the Vice Chancellor proposed the online classes and the deans were in agreement with the proposal.
To contain the spread of the novel coronavirus, all types of academic activities remained suspended at the university from March 18.
