The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has brought forward the income tax filing deadline by a day to December 30, Wednesday, instead of December 31, as announced earlier.
The revenue authority issued the disclosure on Tuesday, citing a bank holiday on the last day of the calendar year.
They had rescheduled the date from November 30 in the wake of taxpayers' pleas for extension amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
