The University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) and Grameenphone (GP) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Tuesday at the ULAB campus, aimed at fostering collaboration in education and professional development.
The MoU was signed by Professor Jude William Genilo, pro vice chancellor of ULAB, and Sayeda Tahya Hossain, chief human resources officer of Grameenphone.
The signing ceremony was attended by notable figures, including Professor Imran Rahman, vice chancellor of ULAB, Jennifer Hossain, consultant and former director in-charge of the Career Services Office (CSO) at ULAB, and Ashfaque Hossain, employer brand expert at Grameenphone.
The Grameenphone delegation included Rifaqat Rasheed, head of talent management & governance, and Sharina Tofazzal Pinky, head of Strategic HR Partner - Commercial.
ULAB was represented by Lt Col Md Foyzul Islam (retd), registrar, and Asif Uddin Ahmed, assistant professor & director of the Graduate Business Program.
This partnership aims to facilitate joint research, faculty and student exchanges, and capacity-building initiatives through training and corporate engagement programs.
By leveraging Grameenphone’s expertise, the collaboration seeks to enhance the educational experience at ULAB and provide graduates with essential professional skills.
