Thailand-based GENESENN Group and Bangladesh’s Rejuva Wellness have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to expand modern wellness, preventive healthcare and longevity care in Bangladesh.
The MoU was signed at an event organised at The Consul Club of GENESENN Group in Bangkok’s Sukhumvit area, where senior representatives of both organisations discussed the prospects of the wellness and longevity sector in Bangladesh.
GENESENN Group was represented by Chief Executive Officer Siriya, Chief Medical Officer Dr Ohm, Director Mickey and Director of International Relations Dr AKM Shahriar.
Rejuva Wellness Bangladesh was represented by Chairman Dr Burhanuddin Ahmed Sadeeq and Founder Dr Tauhidur Rahman.
Under the agreement, Rejuva Wellness Bangladesh will work as an affiliate partner of GENESENN Group to raise awareness and knowledge among people in Bangladesh about modern wellness, preventive healthcare, healthy ageing and longevity-focused healthcare.
During the discussion, the two sides noted that the concept of healthcare is changing rapidly worldwide, with increasing emphasis on disease prevention, personalised health management, quality of life, healthy ageing and long-term well-being alongside treatment.
They said Bangladesh has significant potential for such preventive and future-oriented healthcare services.
Both sides expressed optimism that combining GENESENN Group’s experience and expertise in Thailand with Rejuva Wellness’s local knowledge, network and activities in Bangladesh would create new opportunities in the sector.
Under the MoU, the organisations will exchange knowledge and experience, raise public awareness and explore opportunities for cooperation in various areas related to wellness and longevity-focused healthcare.
Representatives of both organisations said they hoped the partnership would strengthen healthcare cooperation between Bangladesh and Thailand and contribute to the introduction of international experience, new ideas and innovative healthcare initiatives in Bangladesh’s growing wellness and longevity sector.
They also said the collaboration could create new opportunities for developing a healthcare system focused not only on treatment but also on prevention, wellness, healthy ageing and improved quality of life.
