The University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with THSnet, Inc, Connecticut, US on 8 January 2026 at the ULAB campus, marking a significant step toward strengthening industry-academia collaboration.
The MoU was signed by Azim Fahmi, chairman and CEO of THSnet, Inc, and Prof Dr Muhammad Golam Kibria, head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at ULAB.
This partnership aims to foster meaningful collaboration between THSnet and ULAB in areas such as job and internship opportunities for students, joint capstone projects, collaborative research initiatives, and the development of innovative healthcare technologies.
THSnet was represented by Hiron Rahman, managing director. representing ULAB were Lt Col Md Foyzul Islam (Retd), registrar; Raihan Kibria, senior lecturer and Md Anowarul Abedin, senior lecturer of the Department of CSE.
