This year’s Primary Education Completion (PEC) and Ebtedayee examinations will be held across the country from November 17 to 24.
National steering committee on Primary and Ebtedayee terminal examinations in a meeting finalized the schedule on Thursday.
M Zakir Hossain, state minister for Primary and Mass Education, presided over the meeting.
“Primary and Ebtedayee examinations are the biggest programs under the ministry,” he said, urging all to help conduct the examinations properly.
Examination systems must be made foolproof for implementing the ruling Awami League’s 2018 election manifesto as well as to ensure quality education, Zakir said.
“Question paper leakage in Primary and Ebtedayee examinations could be checked if the entire process, from formulating question papers to publishing results, is done carefully and sincerely.”
