Update : 20 Apr 2022, 04:11 PM

After clashes between traders from New Market and students of Dhaka College on the capital’s Mirpur Road, the situation was relatively calm on Wednesday morning, with the movement of traffic returning to normal.

Due to the tense atmosphere as well as the hailstorm early in the day, many traders did not open their shops in the morning, reports Bangla Tribune.

Employees were seen standing still with worried looks on their faces in front of their shops.

Meanwhile, the situation inside Dhaka College was tension-filled, with no students in sight.
