The logo and trophy unveiling ceremony of the Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib Asian Senior Women’s Central Zone International Volleyball Championship were held at a city hotel Friday.
The tournament will get underway on November 9 with the final scheduled to be held five days later.
Host Bangladesh, Nepal, Maldives, Afghanistan and Kyrgyzstan will take part in the tournament that will be held in Mirpur’s Shaheed Sohrawardi Indoor Stadium.
This will be the Bangladesh women’s first ever participation in an international volleyball tournament.
