Volleyball team leave for Iran Sunday

Guided by Iranian head coach Ali Pour Aroji, the Bangladesh team are expected to play 15 practice matches against different local clubs

A 17-member Bangladesh team are scheduled to leave here for Iran in the early hours of Sunday for a month-long camp, ahead of next month's Asian Men's Volleyball Challenge Cup. Guided by Iranian head coach Ali Pour Aroji, the team are expected to play 15 practice matches against different local clubs.  

The AVC Challenge Cup will be held in Sri Lanka from September 15 to 22 with the participation of 10 sides and Bangladesh team are scheduled to fly straight to the host country from Iran on September 12. Bangladesh have been placed in the same group with the UAE, Uzbekistan and Iraq.
