Premier Bangladesh golfer Siddikur Rahman put in a much improved display at the Panasonic Open in the second round Friday but still missed the cut at Higashi Hirono Golf Club in Japan.
The two-time Asian Tour winner in Brunei 2010 and India 2013 carded four-over-par 75 on the opening day of the $1,338,067 tournament, including two birdies, four bogeys and a double bogey, to tie for 118th place alongside four others.
The 34-year old came back strong Friday, hitting one-over-par 70, including two birdies against a solitary bogey, but still finished 97th, along with nine others.
Siddikur, who finished joint 14th in the Yeander Tournament Players Championship earlier this month in Taipei, ended with an overall three-over-par 145.
