Krishak Sramik Janata League (KSJL) President Abdul Kader Siddique said: "This government is not a legal government. They are not elected by the people's vote. As long as this government is in power by force, they will never be the people's ally."
He criticised the government on Tuesday in a press conference at Tangail Press Club.
Regarding the opposition party's role, Kader Siddique said neither the government nor the opposition care about the betterment of the people.
Talking about Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's role, he said although the prime minister is qualified enough, she is surrounded by people who are not qualified. This is creating immense pressure on the prime minister.
Bir Bikram Kader Siddique expressed frustration, talking about the incident of a doctor tearing up a freedom fighter's certificate in Tangail General Hospital. He demanded the accused doctor be punished as soon as possible.
Among others, KSJL General Secretary Habibur Rahman Talukdar, Bir Pratik, KSJL district unit President Rafiqul Islam Rafiq, former President, freedom fighter Abdul Hai, and KSJL district unit General Secretary ATM Salek, were also present at the press conference.
