A madrasa student has been sexually assaulted by a teacher inside a madrasa in Singrai upazila, Manikganj.
The incident took place at Chandahar union under the upazila on September 11.
A case has been filed by the victim under the Women and Children Repression Prevention Act on Tuesday.
The accused of the case, Md Ramjan Ali, who is a teacher at the madrasa, is on the run after the case.
However, three teachers have been arrested for helping the accused flee, confirmed Shafiqul Islam Mollah, officer-in-charge of Singrai police station.

The arrestees were identified as Mufti Saiful Islam, principal of the madrasa, Mufti Abdul Awal and Qari Saiful Islam, teachers from the same madrasa. They were produced in court on Wednesday.
According to the case, Ramjan Ali, who used to stay in a room at the madrasa, often harassed the boy. On September 11, the accused called him to his room and sexually assaulted him again. Ramjan Ali also threatened to kill him if he exposed the incident.
However, when the news spread in the area, an attempt was made to cover up the incident.
