Chittagong civil surgeon office launched a new website enabling locals to track their Covid-19 results.
The district's Civil Surgeon Dr Sheikh Fazle Rabbi inaugurated the website at his office on Sunday.
The designated website addressed at www.ysab.info will keep people updated about their results. Moreover, the results will be sent through SMS.
At the same time, some necessary directives will be shown at the website upon receiving Covid-19 positive or negative results.
The results received from the Covid-19 testing laboratories will be uploaded on the website every day. A volunteer team consisting of 15 members will upload the test results on the website, said the civil surgeon.
As of Sunday, Chittagong recorded 6288 confirmed cases of Covid-19.
Of the total confirmed cases, 68% people hail from the metropolitan area while 32% hail from different upazilas of the district.
Of them, 640 patients returned home after recovery while 141 patients died of the viral disease.
Currently, as many as 363 patients are undergoing treatment at the isolation units of different hospitals in Chittagong.
Besides, 606 persons are now in home quarantine in the district.
