Two more workers who sustained burn injuries from a fire at the Bangladesh Steel Re-Rolling Mills (BSRM) factory in Chittagong died early Sunday, taking the death toll to three.
The deceased were identified as Gias Uddin and Nazrul Islam.
Confirming the matter to Dhaka Tribune, Mofiz Uddin Bhuiyan, Officer-in-Charge of Jorarganj police station said the two workers succumbed to their burn injuries while being shifted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) from Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH).
Earlier on Saturday, a worker identified as Md Quasem died on arrival at Chittagong Medical College Hospital.
Four other workers sustained 60-100 percent burn injuries.
According to the police, the workers got injured when molten iron fell on them.
