Customs officials have arrested a man along with 20 gold bars at Shah Amanat International Airport in Chittagong.
The arrestee is Mohammad Ohidul Alam, reports UNB.
The airport's Assistant Manager Khairul Kabir said: "A flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines from Dubai landed at the airport around 9am on Sunday.
"Acting on a tip-off, a team of Customs Intelligence and Investigation Directorate searched Alam’s luggage on the boarding lounge of the airport and recovered the gold bars."
