Police have recovered the body of a cattle trader from a paddy field near Bhulua River in Lakshmipur’s Kamalnagar upazila.
The deceased is Abdur Rab, 35, son of the late Abdul Hashem of Char Kadira Union.
“On information from locals, a police team recovered the body Sunday morning,” Kamalnagar OC Akul Chandea Biswas told the Dhaka Tribune.
“There is sign of strangulation on Rab’s throat. Details will be known after a post mortem,” the OC said.
