Grenade made in 1964 recovered from Sylhet pond

Police recovered an abandoned grenade from a pond in Kajolshah area of the city on Saturday afternoon. The manufacturing year 1964 was embedded in the grenade's body. A group of workers spotted the grenade while they were digging the government pond around 4pm and informed police, Additional Commissioner of Sylhet Metropolitan Police Mohammad Abdul Wahab said. Police recovered and removed the grenade.
