Bangladesh registered another death from Covid-19 in the 24 hours on Tuesday morning, the latest since March 8.
The person who died in the last 24 hours was a male, aged between 41 and 50 years, from Mymensingh, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
During the time, 31 new cases were detected from 602 samples tested, yielding a 5.15% test positivity.
The latest figures take the death toll to 29,493 and the total infections to 2,049,219.
From the beginning of the pandemic, 98.39% of patients recovered, while 1.44% died, the DGHS said.
