The Directorate General of Drug Administration (DGDA) has formulated a guideline on the adverse side effects of the Covid-19 vaccine.
DGDA Director General (DG) Big Gen Mahbubur Rahman confirmed the matter following a meeting with experts at DGDA headquarters in the city on Tuesday afternoon.
The guideline will be sent to the Health Ministry for approval on Sunday, the DG told the media.

Earlier on Sunday, the ministry approved the National Vaccine Deployment Plan for Covid-19.
On Monday, Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) DG Prof ABM Khurshid Alam said that according to Beximco Pharmaceuticals Ltd the vaccine would arrive by January 25.
The vaccine would be stored in Beximco’s warehouse and the first instalment of the vaccine would be distributed to the health authorities at the district-level within January 27.
The health authorities said a nationwide vaccination program would start from the first week of February.

On Monday, DGHS Additional DG Prof Meerjady Sabrina Flora said mobile medical teams would be deployed near vaccination centres to tackle any situation that might emerge following an adverse impact on any vaccine recipient.
IEDCR adviser Mushtaq Hussain said vaccine recipients would have to stay for 30 minutes at the vaccination centre under observation to ensure they did not have any side effects.
