The National Board of Revenue (NBR) on Thursday extended the deadline for submitting income tax returns to February 16.
The last date for submitting income tax returns of all categories of taxpayers except those of companies for the 2024-2025 fiscal year was Friday.
The revenue authority issued an order extending the time for submission of income tax returns for both online e-returns and offline filing of paper returns for all taxpayers except companies for the convenience of taxpayers.
It also extended the deadline for companies to submit tax returns by one month to March 16.
