Senior Secretary of the Health Services Division, Akmal Hossain Azad, has been removed from his position as part of a reshuffle involving secretaries of three ministries.
The Ministry of Public Administration issued separate gazette notifications regarding these changes on Wednesday.
According to the notification, Akmal Hossain Azad has been transferred to the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock as Secretary.
Meanwhile, Md Saidur Rahman, the Director General (Grade-1) of the NGO Affairs Bureau, has been appointed as the Secretary of the Health Services Division.
Another notification issued by the Deputation-1 Branch of the Ministry of Public Administration said that Additional Secretary Md Abdur Rouf has been made the director general (additional secretary) of the NGO Affairs Bureau.
The notifications mentioned that these orders have been issued in the public interest and are to be implemented immediately.
