The Bangladesh Embassy in Manama on Wednesday announced that Bangladeshi expatriates currently outside Bahrain can renew their visas amid the ongoing situation.
According to the embassy, individuals holding a Labor Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) visa may authorize an acquaintance, relative, or friend residing in Bahrain to contact an LMRA registration center on their behalf with the required documents and submit the renewal application in line with regulations. The relevant office must be contacted at least two weeks before the visa’s expiration date.
For those whose visas are under Commercial Registration (CR) or a company, the embassy advised contacting the sponsor (Arabab) or the company’s relevant authorities and applying for renewal at least two weeks before the visa expires.
The notice emphasized that once a payment message is received after applying, the fee must be paid immediately to ensure visa renewal. Under no circumstances should the visa validity period lapse.
The embassy also urged expatriates to contact its emergency hotline at +973-33375155 if needed.
