The deadline for online applications in the second phase of Class XI admissions for the 2026-27 academic year has been extended to 8pm on October 1.
The schedules for the publication of second-phase results, selection confirmation, migration and final admission have also been revised.
The revised schedule was announced in a notice signed by Professor Dr Syed Akhtaruzzaman, president of the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee and chairman of the Dhaka Education Board, on Monday.
According to the notice, the schedule was revised to address complications caused by a large number of students failing to cancel their selections or complete the admission process within the stipulated time.
Students who did not apply earlier, were not selected by any college despite applying, received a nomination but failed to confirm their selection or complete admission, or were unable to secure admission due to incorrect quota selection can apply in the second phase.
Under the revised schedule, the second-phase results will be published at 8pm on October 5.
Selection confirmation will remain open until 8pm on October 8. Applications and selections will be cancelled if students fail to confirm their selections within the deadline.
Migration results will be published at 8pm on October 9, while final admission will be held from October 11 to 13.
