A fire that broke out at a four-storey building in Dhaka’s Purana Paltan has been brought under control.
Six firefighting units brought the fire under control around 10:30 am on Tuesday, said Talha Bin Jashim, an official of the Fire Service Media Cell.
Fire Service sources said the fire broke out on the first floor of a four-storey building named Manikganj House in Purana Paltan around 9:24am, which houses a law chamber.
Fire Service Media Cell official Talha Bin Jashim said, the fire service was informed about the fire at 9:17am. Within seven minutes, two units of fire service from Siddique Bazar fire station were there. Four other units are operating there.
