The Gemcon Victory Day Golf Tournament 2021 at Army Golf Club in Dhaka ended on Friday.
Chief of Army Staff General SM Shafiuddin Ahmed handed the winners their prizes at the closing ceremony held at the Banquet Hall of the club, said an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Directorate press release.
Some 600 golfers from home and abroad participated in the tournament.
In the men’s category Tasnim Karar won the top prize, while Taslima Yusuf emerged as the winner in the women’s category.
Club officials, Gemcon Group Vice Chairman Kazi Nabil Ahmed and Director Kazi Inam Ahmed, among others, were present at the award-giving ceremony.
