A delegation led by Professor Choi Hae-Young, an emeritus professor at Chonnam National University in South Korea, paid a courtesy call on Jahangirnagar University (JU) Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Md Nurul Islam on Tuesday.
The meeting took place at 3;00pm in the vice-chancellor’s office.
Professor Ahmed Reza of JU’s Department of English, South Korean national and language instructor Lee Ku and his wife, Lee Charles, were also present.
During the meeting, the vice-chancellor expressed interest in strengthening cooperation between Bangladesh and South Korea in education and research, including exchanges of students and faculty members.
Professor Choi Hae-Young stressed the importance of continuing discussions to further strengthen mutual cooperation.
