Dr Dipu Moni, former minister of social welfare and Joint General Secretary of the Awami League, has been shown arrested in a murder case.
She was initially apprehended from the Baridhara DOHS area of the capital on Monday evening.
Afterwards, the former minister was taken to the DB office on Minto Road.
The Awami League leader had been shown arrested in a murder case filed with Mohammadpur police station, DMP Deputy Commissioner (Media and Public Relations) Obaidur Rahman confirmed.
Dipu Moni also served as education minister and foreign minister during various terms.
