The bank accounts of former health and family welfare minister Zahid Maleque have been frozen.
At the same time, bank account transactions of his son and daughter and their owned business establishments have been suspended.
Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU), the financial intelligence arm of Bangladesh Bank, sent instructions to the country's banks and financial institutions on Monday asking them to freeze the bank accounts.
