JU unit Bangladesh Chhatra League organized the premier to spread Bangabandhu's philosophy among university students.

The show took place at 7pm on Thursday. Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Nurul Alam was present there, along with hundreds of students.

The students were overwhelmed with emotions when they came to see the premiere show.

Atiqur Rahman, a student of the English Department, said that not only Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, but the new context of the Liberation War, has emerged through this movie.

“So far, I have only heard the story of Bangabandhu's struggling life in books. Now I get to know Bangabandhu anew on the cinema screen. The last scene of the movie made me very emotional,” he said.

Aktaruzzaman Sohel, president of the JU unit Bangladesh Chhatra League said: "To spread the great ideals of the father of the nation, we have arranged for ordinary students to watch this movie. Through this, not only Chhatra League committee members but also ordinary students will get to know about Bangabandhu's life and work. I am hoping that the struggle spirit of Bangabandhu's life will spread among the students of all levels."

Earlier, on October 13, the movie based on the biography of Bangabandhu was simultaneously released in 153 theatres across the country.
