Health Secretary Abdul Mannan has tested positive for Covid-19.
His personal secretary Mohammad Rashed Hossain Chowdhury told sources, one or two days ago the secretary tested positive. He has been sent to Sheikh Russell Gastroliver Institute and Hospital for a health checkup on Friday.
"I was infected with coronavirus too, after 12 days in hospital I returned home today [on Friday]. Two-three more members of my family have been infected as well," he informed Friday.
Abdul Mannan's wife Kamrun Nahar died on June 14 while undergoing Covid-19 treatment at the Combined Military Hospital.
