Medical admission test on April 2, BDS on April 30

Last year, the exams were postponed to stop the spread of coronavirus

The admission tests for medical colleges will be held on April 2, with the exams for the dental on April 30 after being delayed for the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Directorate General of Health Education (DGHE) announced the schedule for enrolment into the MBBS course at public and private medical colleges for the academic year 2020-21 in a notification issued on Sunday.

Meanwhile, admission tests for BDS courses of dental colleges and units will be held on April 30, DGHE sources confirmed to different media outlets.

Those who wish to take part in the exams are required to fill an online admission form by visiting –http://www.dghs.teletalk.com.bd – starting from February 11 till March 1.

It is to be noted that there are 4,350 seats available in the 47 government medical colleges across Bangladesh while another 8,340 students will get the opportunity to study in the country’s 70 private medical colleges.

Earlier last year, the authorities concerned were forced to postpone these exams in a bid to stop the spread of coronavirus.
