Capital Rugby Team clinched the Victory Day Rugby after beating Sports For Hope And Independence 39-3 in the final at Paltan Stadium in Dhaka Thursday.
Earlier Thursday at the same venue in the semi-finals, Capital defeated Kumilla Rugby Team 30-0 while Sports For Hope beat JRC Rugby Club 29-0.
A total of seven teams took part in the tournament that was organized by Bangladesh Rugby Federation Union to mark the birth centenary of the Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, and the historic Victory Day.
