The first ever Saarc Chess Championship Men’s and Women’s Open will get underway Monday at FARS Hotel & Resorts and will run till December 3.
The competition, sponsored by Rosatom of Russia and co-sponsored by Saif Powertec Limited, Max Group, Rupayan Group and Al Arafah Islami Bank Ltd, will be held in accordance with the 9-round Swiss League system.
