Scholastica girls won big in the second day of the Polar Ice Cream 26th School Handball Tournament (boys and girls) at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali Stadium in Dhaka Friday.
Scholastica (Mirpur) thrashed Cambrian School and College 18-0 while Viqarunnisa Noon School and College also registered a huge victory as they thumped Dhanmondi Tutorial 17-0.
In the other matches in the girls’ event, Saint Xaviers School and College beat Shaheed Sheikh Russel Government High School 6-0, Shaheed Police Smriti College defeated Wills Little Flower 11-2, Uttara High School beat Rajdhani Ideal School 5-0 and Bangladesh International School and College defeated South Breeze School 7-1.
In the boys’ category, Scholastica (Uttara) beat Ideal School and College 18-7 while Scholastica (Mirpur) defeated Motijheel Government High School 15-8.
