Flame Boys emerged as the champion in the First Division Handball League after beating Star Sports 33-9 in their last match Thursday at M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium in Paltan Maidan, Dhaka.
Jurain Janata finished as the runners-up.
In the other game of the day at the same venue, Jurain defeated Purbachal Parishad 14-12.
Flame Boys’ Parvez Mosharraf was adjudged the best player of the league.
