Titas, Navy and Army win in Victory Day Volleyball

In Wednesday’s games, Bangladesh Police will take on Fire Service and Civil Defence at 9:30am, Bangladesh Power Development Board will face BKSP at 11:30am, Bangladesh Navy will face off against Fire Service at 2pm while Bangladesh Air Force be up against Bangladesh Titas Club at 4:30pm

Bangladesh Titas Club, Bangladesh Navy and Bangladesh Army registered victories on the third day of the Walton Victory Day Volleyball Tournament, organised by Bangladesh Volleyball Federation Tuesday.

In their Group B match, Titas beat Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Party 25-19, 25-09, 23-25, 25-15 (3-1 sets). In their Group A match, Navy defeated Bangladesh Police 25-04, 25-09, 25-14 (3-0 sets). In the other Group A match of the day, Army beat Fire Service and Civil Defence 25-04, 25-09, 25-14 (3-0 sets). Bangladesh Air Force and BKSP were scheduled to lock horns with each other in a Group B match later Tuesday.

In Wednesday’s games, Police will take on Fire Service at 9:30am, Bangladesh Power Development Board will face BKSP at 11:30am, Navy will face off against Fire Service at 2pm while Air Force be up against Titas at 4:30pm.

A total of nine teams divided into two groups are taking part in the competition. Group A comprises Army, Navy, Police and Fire Service while Group B contains BPDB, Titas, Air Force, Ansar and BKSP.

The champion will receive Tk20,000, the runners-up side will get Tk15,000 while the third-placed team will pocket Tk10,000. The tournament, set to conclude Monday, will also have awards for the best attacker, best setter, best blocker and best libero.
