Narail district emerged as the champion of the second edition of the National Women's Rugby Championship after beating Kishoreganj 5-0 in the grand finale at the Paltan ground Tuesday.
Nisha from the winning team was adjudged the player of the tournament while Kishoreganj's Achol became the most promising player of the competition.
A total of 12 district teams including Dhaka, Narayanganj, Manikganj, Hobiganj, Chittagong, Jamalpur, Borguna, Dinajpur, Thakurgaon and Joypurhat took part in the tournament.
